This reduces the amount of water that is evaporated.

The LED units can be pretty costly at first. Although they save a lot of money in the long run, you still need to be able to afford them. Their high-cost is due to them not being mass produced. They are difficult to obtain and sell out fast as a result. You are better off pre-ordering them and waiting it out to ensure you snag one of these cool devices!
